Medibank International Tennis Tournament:
The Medibank International tournament is played in famous Olympic Park in Sydney. The tournament has few other names including New South Wales Open. Since Medibank is the major sponsor of the tournament, it is known with its name internationally.
The Medibank International is the oldest tennis tournament in the history of the game. The tournament started back in 1885 when colonial officials were looking to find tennis players in different colonies. That was the reason that this tournament was initially held. After its substantial success, it became a regular event in tennis calendar. Even the team selection for Davis Cup depends heavily on the player’s performances in the tournament. The tournament has been a part of Grand Prix Tennis Tour from 1970 to 1989. The entire arena has 15 outdoor hard courts. The tournament has a prize money of $600,000.

Heineken Open Tennis Tournament:
Heineken Open is help in Auckland, New Zealand under the supervision of Association of Tennis Professionals. It is one of the largest events in tennis.
This tournament started when Auckland Tennis started building permanent tennis courts in 1920. Local funds put in effort and collected plenty of funds for establishing new courts. For next 30 years, local tennis enjoyed the courts as it played local matches throughout these years. In 1981, local tennis tournaments started giving chance to men as well as women. However, International Series started in the courts in 1998 and stayed that way till 2008. After that, the tournament became ATP World Tour 250 event. The tournament has prize money of $436,000

South Asian Tennis Open:
South Asian Tennis Open is a hard court tournament played in the outdoors. This professional tournament started as a part of Grand Prix circuit and eventually became part of 250 tennis series event. The tournament is held in Johannesburg each year.
The tournament has a finance of $500,000 and prize money of $443,500. The tournament had issues with ATP tour but returned to its status after 13 years. The court can hold up to 6000 fans during matches.

Famous male tennis player Nikolay Davydenko is a Russian tennis professional who is ranked 30th in the current tennis world. This real talent has unfortunately never won a singles Grand Slam title. The best result achieved by Nikolay Davydenko was to reach the semi finals of a Grand Slam four times in his career. But, he has won the ATP World Tour in 2009 and he was runner up in a Tennis Masters cup in 2008. Tennis fans have given him the nickname of “Kolya” which stands for Russian version of Nikolay and others have given him the name of “Iron Man” because he is plays more tournaments in a year than any other player. In year 2010, the Russian tennis player, Nikolay Davydenko ended below the ranking of ten for the first time since 2004. He claimed his 20th career title this year in Doha. Nikolay defeated the famous male tennis player Roger Federer in semi-final and Nadal, the Clay King in final. In year 2010, Nikolay lost many matches due to his injuries which affected his ranking.

Nikolay Davydenko has an offensive game from the baseline with hard and penetrating ground strokes. He has technically sound forehand and backhand shots. He hits the ball extremely fast that generates lots of power in the shot which resembles the former numero uno player, the famous USA tennis player Andre Agassi. Davydenko has his backhand as his favorite shot which he can play from anywhere in the court. But, due to his weakness in volleys, services and lack of closing matches, he is not able to climb up the rankings.
