Cedric Pioline belongs to an athlete family and he has got sportsman spark from his family. His mother was a volleyball player in Romanian National Team of Volleyball. His father himself was also a volleyball player. Cedric got married with Mireille Bercot and have 18 years old son Andre, leading a peaceful life with his family in Geneva.

Cedric Pioline was born on June 15, 1969 in France. His sportsman spirit made him professional in tennis career in 1989. Soon after he entered in his career he fought for Davis Cup and won the Cup for his country in 1991 and again in 1996. In the mean while, he reached for other 10 men’s singles including in 1993 and 1998 at Monte Carlo. His memorable achievement is at the ATP Master Series where he won his last singles title in 2000 at Monte Carlo.

Cedric Pioline is a former Grand Slam Finalist for two times but both times he was defeated by Pete Sampras in straight sets. Cedric Pioline is recognized as the most stylish player in tennis court and fortunately he is among the only two members who got ranking among ATP top 10 without winning a tournament ever in his career.

In his career, he won 5 singles titles and 1 doubles title. For Singles he was ranked World’s no. 5 on May 8th, 2000 and for doubles he was ranked at no. 93 on January 13th, 2003.

His journey in tennis was small but delightful and he finally took retirement in 2002. After his tennis career as a player he became director of ATP Master Series in Paris and got regular on ATP Champions Tour.
