Justine Henin Hardenne was famous for her one handed backhand. She rose to the top of world ranking due to her incredible toughness and execution of the powerful one-handed backhand. She was best female player in the world in 2003.

She won Roland Garros in 1997 using his powerful backhand and forehand. She started playing at the highest level and got her herself recognized as a top performer in senior circuit. She received a wild card entry to Belgium WTA event and won it to become the 5th person ever to grab the tournament title after getting a wild card entry.

She reached finals in Wimbledon in 2001. She also reached semi-finals of French Open the same year. Two more years into her career and she had won almost everything including French Open, US Open and six other titles. She was runner un in three tournaments and reached semi-final for seven times between 2001 and 2003.

In 2004, she won the warm up to the Australian Open. She went on to win the actual tournament as well. She had an amazing next year with 24 match winning streak. She finally won French Open to end the year on a high note. With her success in 2005, she became a rare female tennis professional to have won 10 singles finals in a row.

She wasn’t at her best in 2006 as she lost Australian Open, US Open and Wimbledon. However, she won the French Open and ended the year with average success rate.
