Famous male tennis player Andre Agassi is one of the greatest tennis players ever to have played the game. He was the proud winner of 8 Grand Slam titles and a gold medal winner at the Olympics in singles. He is one of the few who have won all four Grand Slams on all surfaces. He is also the only tennis male player in history to have ever won a golden slam. He won the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open in a single year, catapulting him to an elite club which has yet to get its second member.

USA tennis player, Agassi was also the winner of a record number of ATP Masters Tournaments. He won a total of 17 tournaments which is more than any other male player in the history of the sport. His achievements were aptly awarded when he was declared the 12th best tennis player through the period from 1965 to 2005 by Tennis Magazine. This great legend bid adieu to the sport due to continual injury problems which threatened to be fatal if he continued to play the game. Andre Agassi retired from tennis on September 3rd, 2006, thus bringing to an end a career, which the world would never fail to be amazed at.
