Famous female tennis player Elena Dementeiva is a Russian professional tennis star who has two Olympic gold medals in singles that includes gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Althoug Elena retired a little earlier but she was the strongest performer at the Olympics in comparison to any other player with the record of 11-2. Elena has also achieved the feat of reaching grand slam finals twice in her career. She achieved her career high ranking, No. 3 in 2009 and retired in 2010 ranked No. 9 at WTA.
